| Description | An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Archaeological Services WYAS in February 2007, during groundworks involved in the construction of a new medical centre on land off First Avenue in Wetherby. Prior to groundworks the site comprised a car park and overgrown land to the east, which was bounded by Hallfield Lane to the north, housing to the east, housing and First Avenue to the south, and the continuation of the car park to the west. No pre modern archaeological remains were identified during the course of the watching brief. |
