Title | Watching brief at Westfield Lane |
Description | A watching brief was carried out by Archaeological Services WYAS in March 2006, prior to the construction of two houses at a site adjacent to Westfield Lane in Kippax. It was thought that archaeological remains were likely to survive at this site due to its proximity to the historic core of the village of Kippax. However, no remains of archaeological significance were found during the excavation of the foundation trenches as the area had already been substantially altered previously. See the report for more details. |
