DescriptionThis pair of cottages was probably built in the early 19th century. There is a fourteen light window on the first floor that spans the length of the two cottages, with some of the lights being blocked (Giles, 1981). C Giles (1981) suggests that this window may have always been designed to have blocked lights for divisions.
