TitleBarn conversion at Upper Damhouse Farm
DescriptionThere was an application to convert this barn to a dwelling house in 2001. Planning permission was granted later that year, on the condition that a photographic record be produced in accordance with WYAAS specifications. It is not known whether this conversion has actually been carried out. From looking at correspondence from P Strangroom (2001), the surveyor, it appears that much of the original fittings and features had previously been removed or altered. The date of origin of this barn is not known; however it appears to be marked on the 1st edition OS map of 1851, so it was built prior to this date.
