TitleBarn adjoining 39/41 Brownhill Lane
DescriptionA photographic survey of the barn adjoining 39/41 Brownhill Lane was completed in 2004 prior to a planning application to convert the barn to extend the existing dwelling. There is a query as to whether the barn is adjoining No. 39 or No. 41: the photographs and supporting documents are labelled as No. 39, and the grid reference given corresponds to what appears more likely to be a building that adjoins No. 39 rather than No. 41 on the WYAAS GIS map. However, the letter accompanying the photographic survey refers to No. 41, as does the planning application.
The buildings at the Brownhill site appear on the 1st edition OS map of 1851, and so it is likely that the barn was built prior to this date.
