Description | This sandstone ‘brick’ chapel is dated 1864. It has ashlar quoin pilasters, and a moulded pediment over the whole front containing an oeil de boeuf. It has three round headed recessed windows. The doorway to the centre has paired pilaster strips with carved consoles, supporting an entablature with a projecting cornice and pedimental blocking course. There are also round headed windows to the side elevation. The lower school front adjoins, with acroteria to the pedimental gable. There are two round headed windows that flank a pilaster strip doorway, which has a cornice on carved consoles. This building was de listed on 16/09/1997. |
