Description | This two storey farmhouse was built in the early 18th century and then was altered in the early 19th century. It is now used as an animal shelter or hay store (English Heritage, 1989). It is built of coursed rubble, quoined at the angles, and has been partly rendered. It has a stone slate roof with two gable stacks, coped gables and kneelers. The north front is largely obscured by a single storey addition, which is now in a ruinous state (English Heritage, 1989). All the window frames and doors have been removed. |
