Description | This school was built c.1848 from hammer dressed stone and has a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and is of four bays. The first bay has a former doorway, which has since been altered to a window (English Heritage, 1979). It has a double chamfered surround. Above and to the other bays are two light double chamfered mullioned windows. Above the ground floor windows there is an ornamental band with a relief inscription that reads: ‘NATIONAL FARSLEY SCHOOLS’. The building has coped gables and an end stack to the right.
