DescriptionStruck or hammered silver denarius of Julia Domna (170 217AD) the wife of Septimus Severus. In a good state of preservation with slight wear. Discovered by a metal detectorist at Park Farm, Pontefract before 19/02/2000.

During 1989 many of the finder's finds were examined by Richard Van Riel (and later Pam Judkins) of Wakefield MDC Museums service.
