TitleRoadway to Ross Mills
DescriptionThis roadway leads to what was formerly Ross Mills (PRN 4329). The photographs show the roadway as comprising of cobbles down the middle, with flags on either side. The only description in the folder of the roadway is anonymous with no date, and reads:
‘This drive leads off at the bottom of the hill between Bramley and Rodley. Ross Mills was formerly a woollen mill and, I think, older that the present buildings. Most such drives (cobbles for hooves, flags for wheels) I have seen have been much shorter, and many have been destroyed. They should not all go!’
