Title | 42-44, 52-70 and 72-84 Coal Hill Lane |
Description | Nos. 42 44, 52 70 and 72 84 Coal Hill Lane are groups of workers cottages built in the late 18th to early 19th century. There is no other description of them in the folder. The photographs show various terraced cottages, mostly of two storey buildings, but one is of a terrace of three storey buildings. One of these three storey buildings has a taking in door on each floor above the main door. The first floor door has been blocked up. Some of the buildings in the photographs look like they are no longer used for domestic purposes as most of their windows and doors have been bricked up. |
