Description | Single sherd of Roman colour coated (or castor) ware, probably a fragment of the foot ring of a beaker. The fabric is orange in colour and fine. The sherd has a brown, slightly metallic looking coloured coating. Discovered by during field walking about 1/6/2004. Length 27.7mm, width 14mm, weight 3.38g. PAS Ref. SWYOR CA40D1. |
