Description | This sundial was probably built in the early 18th century. It is of magnesian limestone. The base consists of two octagonal steps, which is surmounted by a slim vase pedestal with a splayed cap. It has a brass plate lettered ‘Handley YORK’, and a scrolled gnomon. |
