TitleChapel at north end of terrace to rear of Bramham Park
DescriptionThis Chapel was formerly a summer house and was built in 1750 62 by James Paine, for George Fox Lane. It is built of magnesian limestone ashlar and has a stone slate roof. It is built in Classical style. It consists of a pedimented single cell of two storeys and three bays, with a tetrastyle Ionic porch covering the full width of the ground floor, and single storey semi octagonal wings to the return walls. The porch is mounted on three steps and has an entablature, a dentilled cornice, and a parapet balustraded in each bay. Beneath the porch is a round headed doorway with double doors (upper panels glazed) and a fanlight with radiating glazing bars. There are also tall 12 pane sashed windows with balustrades beneath.
