Description | English Heritage, Scheduled Monument Description for SAM 31489: The monument Includes a small cairn, which is situated on Harden Moor 330m north of Woodhead. The cairn is on a slope, 90m north northeast of a ring cairn which is the subject of a separate scheduling (PRN 7453). The cairn is about 5m in diameter and 0.5m high. It is composed of gritstone rocks up to 0.5m across and has a gritstone slab protruding from its base. |
