DescriptionDescription from the English Heritage Scheduled Monument notification for SAM no 29128 (21/11/1996);
The monument includes a carved gritstone rock, measuring 0.77m by 0.72m by 0.19m. It is situated in Keighley, in a pedestrian area in Bow Street, adjacent to public seats. It is displayed amongst a group of other, uncarved, local rocks, and a plaque has been affixed. The dimensions of this group of rocks are c.3m by 3m. An accurate National Grid Reference is SE 06060 41213. The carving consists of a cup with four rings, with two long grooves from the outer ring, and a groove connecting the two long grooves. There are also two shallow cups, one of these being between the two long grooves.
