| Description | One of three fragments of Pre Conquest cross, found in the north wall of Guiseley Parish Church during restoration in 1831.
This PRN is a damaged fragment of a cross shaft. Three faces have flat strap plaits. On the other face is a figure that appears to be holding a stone (?), standing above the head of a tangled dragon.
This fragment probably dates to the late 9th century. |
