TitlePre Conquest cross fragment, St Oswald's Church, Guiseley
DescriptionOne of three fragments of Pre Conquest cross, found in the north wall of Guiseley Parish Church during restoration in 1831.
This PRN is a damaged fragment of a cross shaft. Three faces have flat strap plaits. On the other face is a figure that appears to be holding a stone (?), standing above the head of a tangled dragon.
This fragment probably dates to the late 9th century.
