TitleStone Coffin found at Beckett's Park Drive, Headingley, Leeds
DescriptionStone coffin and associated cist, in situ, in driveway of 126, Becketts Park Drive. Excavated and left in situ. No other finds. L. Butler suggests Roman or British or Anglo Saxon; there are no close parallels among the known medieval stone coffins in W.Yorks. This could be a part of a more extensive site and the coffin/cist are designated Class 2, the surrounding area Class 3.
