TitleDouble-Ditched Lane (cropmark)
DescriptionCropmark of what is suggested by the National Mapping Programme (Unique Identifier: 1404071) to represent a short length of a double ditched lane (of Prehistoric or Roman date) turning through a right angle towards Sowgate Lane. It is not, however, possible to discard the alternative interpretation that the cropmark may represent a corner of a double ditched enclosure and therefore the site should be tested if threatened by development.

Cropmarks shown on modern GIS mapping (c.2011) to be located underneath the A1(M). Therefore likely to be totally destroyed.
