TitleCarved Rock, near Dobrudden caravan park
DescriptionMedium sized, striated grit rock standing up in rough grass, its top surface nearly level. One shallow cup on top surface. On N side. large, narrow, incomplete ring, roughly incised, and irregular, round shallow cup.
Description of the monument from the English Heritage Scheduled Monument Record for SAM no 25401 (06/10/1995); The monument includes a carved gritstone rock, 0.9m by 1m by 0,3m. It is situated on moorland, c.42m due south of the curving wall at the south east corner of Dobrudden caravan park, 8m south of the path, and c.60m from the centre of a large mound at the south side of the caravan park. Its grid reference by Global Positioning System is SE 13644 39803. The carving consists of one shallow cup on the top surface, and on the north face a cup with a large narrow incomplete ring.
