Description | Large rock, sloping S to N in heather and grass. One large cup on SW. Description from the English Heritage Scheduled Monument notification for SAM no 25332 (21/06/1995); The monument includes a carved gritstone rock, 3m x 3.5m x 0.95m. It is situated c.7m south of the path on top of Green Crag, above Green Crag Enclsoure. Its grid reference by Global Positioning System is SE 13090 45847. The carving consists of one cup on the south west edge of the rock. |
