Description from the English Heritage Scheduled Monument Notification for SAM no 25299 (29/06/1995);
The monument includes a carved gritstone rock, only partly protruding from the ground, this part measuring 1.8m x 2m x 0.26m. It is located on Woofa Bank, 20m north west of an enclosure. Its grid reference by Global Positioning System is SE 13871 45530. The carving consists of one shallow cup.
