Description | Large striated rock sloping into heather and crowberry. One large deep cup, two shallow depressions. Description from the English Heritage Scheduled Monument notification for SAM no 25298 (29/06/1995); The monument includes a carved gritstone rock, 1.6m x 2.65m x 0.75m. It is located on Woofa Bank, 20m west of an enclosure. Its grid reference by Global Positioning System is SE 13840 45490. The carving consists of one large cup and two shallow depressions. |
