TitleCarved rock, Green Crag
DescriptionMedium sized, fairly smooth grit rock standing up in heather and crowberry, its sloping top surface carved with nine possible cups, one with incomplete ring and another cup on ring, two basins.
Description from the English Heritage Scheduled Monument notification for SAM no 25306 (13/06/1995);
The monument includes a carved rock of coarse striated gritstone, 1.1, x 0.9m x 0.37m. It is located under Green Crag, west of a gas pipeline, and is the westernmost of the two carved rocks in this area. Its grid reference by Global Positioning System is SE 13514 45750. The carving consists of nine cups, one with a faint incomplete ring.
