DescriptionGeneral APs of Hebden Bridge area showing the spatial relationship between the medieval village of Heptonstall above the steep valley of the Calder and the larger industrial settlement of Hebden Bridge in the valley bottom. The 18th and 19th century communications (canal, railway and turnpike road are also constrained to the valley bottom). The ruined church of St Thomas a Beckett is shown adjacent to the existing church in Heptonstall (PRN 68). No action.
