TitleIron Age/Romano-British Enclosure, Moss Carr
DescriptionCropmarks of three sides of a probable small sub rectangular or square enclosure, southern side and southern two corners not visible in adjacent field. Possible linear ditches to the west (shown on WY 167/32) are part of PRN 4509. Other linear ditches 300m. to the east north east included here; part of some earlier field system? 1994 APs add further detail including another sub rectangular enclosure at SE 364264. See also PRN 4517 for possible further features to the east of Moss Carr Farm.

This feature was excavated in 2001 by Archaeological Services WYAS (ASWYAS) and confirmed to be a Iron Age/Romano British enclosure with internal structures for full details see PRN 1584
