TitleUpper Wat Ing
DescriptionAP of Upper Wat Ing Farm (of uncertain date) shows earthworks in the field immediately south of the farm. Some of the major slopes visible on the APs are probably natural but it appears that there may be elements of man made features there also. The word tenter appears there on 1st edn. 6 O.S. in c.1850. Field visit needed in first instance to ascertain existence and nature of any earthworks. Note: this farm may form a part of the broader landscape of Norland Town see PRN 4677.
