DescriptionSite of former manor house, owned by Hospital of St Nicholas in 14th. century and later; usually leased out. Chance observation of medieval or later stonework in small hole; site probably mostly developed although odd fragmentary remains may survive between recent developments. Windmill documented nearby in 14th. century. Manor described as one mansion house ... oute house one dovecote with a garden and a garth voc' hallgarthe in 1608.
