TitlePossible enclosure (cropmark)
DescriptionCropmarks of linear and rectilinear ditches but DNR APs to be re examined by WYAS before full extent of possible evaluation can be determined. If there are good archaeological features in this area, their relationship to the probable line of the former park pale (PRN 4004) needs to be established. Xerox copies of DNR prints show two corners and (parts of) three sides of a possible small rectilinear enclosure disappearing under the trees/park pale.

The cropmarks were recorded by English Heritage during the Lower Wharfedale Air Photograph Interpretation project (aka National Mapping Programme NMP) in 2003. The feature was described as a probable ditched enclosure and ditches of uncertain date. Only one corner of the enclosure is visible (Oakey, 2003)
