DescriptionO.S.card states that large numbers of flints have been found on the ridge by Grubstones Shooting Box. These comprise microliths, many arrowheads (mostly barbed and tanged), also knives, hammers and other stone implements. Some of finds are in Cartwright Hall Museum, Bradford. O.S. established Museum had small collection of miscellaneous flints from the area. Rombald's Moor generally has produced prolific flint finds from the Mesolithic to the Bronze Age, and this record, together with most other records of flints from the Moor, is too vague to enable accurate plotting of finds or correlation of records with one another. (Samuel Crowther Collection does, however, contain some better provenanced material from R.Moor; see thematic files in SMR).
