Title | Looped Palstave, Upper Westercroft |
Description | This looped palstave belongs to a hoard (PRN 3875) found at Upper Westercroft in 1856. The hoard comprised 8 palstaves and 2 spearheads. The subject of PRN 3874 was believed lost until it was relocated in Bankfield Museum by John Gilks. The palstave is illustrated in Burgess, 1968 (see above).
