TitleHeeley Hill
DescriptionEarthworks of uncertain nature and date on Heeley Hill; information from Roger Lambert via P.Thornborrow (WYAS). Site visit required in first instance.

Site visited by David Shepherd in October 2012: 'there are earthworks at this location, and they show up on Google Earth 2006 imagery and also easily seen from nearby high ground. The whole is now deep in vegetation but does seem stonier on probing than the surrounding ground. An involved area of disturbed groud is perhaps best interpreted as the upcast from a trial hole'.
