Description | Village pound/pinfold, Thorp Arch, comprising stone walls with gateway(?) and lintel. Dating from 17th/18th/19th century? In the grounds of Park Cottage, Thorp Arch (see grid ref. above. ) The former pinfold was visited by P. Thornborrow (Historic Buildings Officer, WYAS) during the early 1990s; although there is no site visit report on file, there are three black and white photographs which he took deposited in the HER. |
