Description | Mesolithic flints found between Skirtful Spring and Reva Hill by J.Turner. Site was an exposed patch near the Rifle Range and flints comprised 10 unretouched flakes and blades, 1 broken scraper and one block/core of chert. Part of J.Turner collection; present whereabouts unknown, but likely to be Manor House Museum, Ilkley. Grid ref. uncertain. |
