DescriptionTwo flint sites found by Brian Howcroft: 1. SE 015 130 March Haigh Reservoir; flints comprised large knife, 3 scrapers, a microlith and 24 waste flints. 2. SE 018 131 55 pieces of waste chert found nearby at March Haigh. Finds probably represent workshops/settlements of Mesolithic material, though some flints may be of later periods (to check with Mr.H.). Finds retained by Brian Howcroft.
