TitleLetter from Elizabeth Sutherland to Robert Parker, solicitor of Halifax
DescriptionThanks him for his letter "though you may be sure its contents deeply grieve me". Says it is a duty to herself and an act of kindness to her sister "to prevent her from further exposure. She must now be the laughing stock of all those who are not deeply interested in her welfare". Wants to place her under the care of some eminent medical man and await the results of his treatment for a time in case she may again have her mental faculties
