June 7 Had Madame Huchez’s woman Mrs. Barlow came at breakfast, and
again before dinner. Went out with her — to the diligence office etc.
Mrs. Barlow’s new passport, and letter of credit. 9th lecture — old
gentleman there Go to Laffitte’s about letter of credit etc. etc.

June 13 Look over my things address of the man who came to take down
my aunt’s bed on account of bugs — full of them — Dr. Tupper called in to see
MacDonald has prescriptions for her and for me on the
